California Takes Down Columbia 74-56 in Haas Pavilion Thriller

California (HOME) proved too strong for visiting Columbia, defeating the Lions 74-56 on Monday night at Haas Pavilion.

The Golden Bears came out hot, using a strong first half to take control of the game. A 28-16 lead after 20 minutes set the tone for the rest of the contest, as California continued to pull away in the second half.

For Columbia, which had been one of the most consistent teams on the road this season, the loss marked a tough bounce-back following a strong non-conference slate.

Top performer Caleb Randall led the way for California with 15 points.
