FAU Edges Tulane in Thrilling Conference Showdown

In a dramatic turn of events, the University of South Alabama (FAU) managed to eke out a 3-point victory over its rival, Tulane, at Devlin Fieldhouse on Tuesday night.

The primary storyline of the evening was Tulane's remarkable comeback from a 4-point deficit at halftime. Despite trailing by four entering the second half, the Green Wave erased their deficit and took a lead with just under three minutes remaining to set up a tense finish.

Rowan Brumbaugh led the charge for Tulane, scoring 20 points on 2-8 three-point shooting. Scotty Middleton provided valuable support with seven rebounds and nine points off the bench, while Tyler Ringgold chipped in with four assists and five points.

In contrast, FAU's Isaiah Elohim paced the Owls with 13 points, including a strong second-half performance that helped his team stay ahead of Tulane. Kanaan Carlyle also played a key role for FAU, notching four assists and ten points while grabbing seven rebounds.

The game was marked by several large leads throughout, with both teams trading baskets in the first half to deadlocked at 32-32. However, Tulane began to pull away in the second half, eventually taking a 69-66 lead with just under two minutes remaining.
