NJIT defeats SUNY-Canton 95-60
NJIT Dominates SUNY-Canton in Statement Win
The Joel & Diane Bloom Wellness and Events Center was abuzz on Tuesday as the NJIT Hawks hosted their non-conference opponent, SUNY-Canton. In a dominating performance, the home team took down the visiting Cannoneers by a score of 95-60.
As soon as the game tipped off, it became clear that this would be no ordinary matchup. The NJIT Hawks came out strong in the first half, with Sebastian Robinson leading the charge. The senior guard scored 21 points in the period, including four field goals and two assists, to give his team a commanding 46-23 lead.
